I play a some what decent amount of video games mostly online of coarse. but through my gaming years people have told me that video games are for kids, and video games are for dorks. so what’s your oppinon on people playing alot of video games?

    NO WAY! Video games r not only 4 kids. I am one, but I have seen adults play, and they r not dorks!!!! Seriously, the people who say video game-players are dorks, are dorks themselves

    Video game players are not dorks at all!

    My brother is a video game designer and he is probably one of the coolest guys I know ( just dont tell him that;])

    I think video games are great! On yahoo news today was a guy who saved someones life from what he learned by a game on Wii…

    it can become an obsession but as long as you arent pasty white and havent seen the sun in a few months I think youre prolly allright;)

    in ‘95-’96, yeah, socially playing any game was kinda dorky/nerdy, now in ‘07, playing games aren’t, but if you’re ahardcore fan (like me and many others), “normal” people view it as kinda wierd, but really, if you’re surrounded by other gamers, you won’t notice

    In my opinion, it depends what game you’re playing. I’m sorry if i offend anybody but i think that only dorks play games like world of warcraft, dungeons and dragons, and other games along those lines. And video games are definetly not just for kids. otherwise we wouldn’t have rated m games. Just don’t play too much and become obsessed with it because then ou’ll look like a dork.

    Nope, I do it too, and am in my later adult years. It builds your hand eye coordination.

    no I hope not cause I love playin video games sometimes i sit with my kids and young brothers and play video games with them So I think No video games are NOT dorky

    Playing video games are NOT a dorky thing. I have been playing video games since I was around 8 years old. I’m 33 now and I still play video games. I also have been told that video games are for kids, but I don’t care as long as you feel good playing video games keep playing.

    NAW alot of people play games you just should not overdo it it is not dorky but can be bad for health mentally and eye damage

    Video games are just like any other hobby. Sure its just you sitting at a big “idiot box” for hours on end and technically not accomplishing anything, but who really cares? If it is what you love to do, then why should you really care what anyone else thinks. Doing anything in the world these days will make people put you in a stereotypical group in their mind. It just so happens that video games are commonly seen as kids games and for nerds who live in their mother’s basement. If you’re a little toddler or are a 28 year old man who still takes orders from “mommy”, then you deserve to be called such, but otherwise, just keep on gaming.

    I think people who play 2 much is addictive. If people keep telling u stuff about not playing games u should really cut down. By the way i hav the same prob LOL
